IDSC WEEKEND 2015

Last year we went to Great Wolf Lodge for the International Down Syndrome Coalition's kick start of Down Syndrome Awareness Month and it was so great to connect with local families while we were still in the process of bringing our kids home....It was so much fun to go back this year with our kids finally home, everyone had fun, but Millie really loved the wave pool!

It was a great weekend and they both did so so well with being in a new unfamiliar place, spending the night somewhere, and being in a pool for the first time!

M also got a haircut for the first time since coming home, last week.....

NOT A FAN.

She does not think haircuts are necessary and would much prefer her hair in her face vs having to sit in a chair and cooperate when they say HOLD STILL.

We're so enjoying this year of #firsts.

Next week a heat wave is coming to Wisconsin and we are suppose to reach 50 degrees by next Wednesday and are hoping to get out and explore the zoo, that is an activity that is more E's style...swimming not so much, he's a naturally cold kiddo, swimming just made him shiver more.
