I fell in love with a little boy,
I also had to say goodbye to him and head home that same day.
God's timing amuses me.
I promised him that day that I would be back for him.
June 9th, 2014
I held him for the first time.
June 13th, 2014
Exactly one year later,
I had my last visit,
I again had to say goodbye to my little boy,
This time for the last time.
The same day,
Exactly one year apart.
But today I will hold on to the fact that 2 months ago was the last time I will ever have to say goodbye.
That in two months time,
I have high hopes that he will be in my arms again,
That it will be the start of our forever.
